COVID-19 UPDATE: Our response and current plan

What we’re doing to keep our customers and staff safe.

The current situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) warrants special attention, so we want to let you know what we have done already and what we plan to do going forward to prepare as best we can.

Most importantly, everything we are doing in response to COVID-19 is to try our best to minimize its impact as much as possible. Our dedicated employees are ready and able to deliver on our promises; the highest quality products, professionally installed and backed by our industry-leading Signature Service. For now, that is our focus.

What follows is our current plan to handle the COVID-19 situation in a safe and responsible way.

External Risk Mitigation Plan – What we are doing to keep you healthy and informed

We are confident we can deliver a high level of service while still practicing proper social distancing. To that end, we will be adopting three policies that will remain in place until further notice:

  1. In-home Consultations – Our Design Team, who visits homes and provides project quotes, are instructed and prepared to wipe-down samples and perform liberal, frequent hand washing to ensure a peace-of-mind visit.
  2. Isolate Work Area – Our teams have been instructed to minimize person-to-person contact and isolate the area we are working in as much as possible.
  3. Clean on Our Way Out – When installation is complete for the day, we will clean items we have come in contact with.

Internal Risk Mitigation Plan –What we are doing to keep everyone healthy

We have put comprehensive measures in place to ensure we stay healthy at work. We have rolled out protocols that involve strict personal hygiene requirements and daily cleaning schedules of all workstations, equipment, and vehicles. In short, we will be cleaning everything we use all the time. 

When it comes to meetings, we will be distancing ourselves from one another and making them as efficient as possible. We will not sacrifice training or communication, but we will be smart about congregating in groups.

We are also doing all we can to provide our employees the leeway to take care of themselves and their families. If an employee gets sick with any flu-like symptoms, we have mandated that they stay home. Our ultimate goal is to maintain employment for our current staff during this challenging time.

In return, we ask that our potential customers communicate with us when scheduling in-home appointments. If you are not feeling well, our schedules are flexible and can visit at a time when you are on the mend so we can keep everyone safe.
